Civil Engineering Technologist
Our Victoria office is seeking a civil engineering technologist to join our team of engineering and surveying professionals. Applicants with a Civil Engineering Diploma and experience in land development are preferred.
Key job activities
- Civil design and drafting work
- Developing plans and reports
- Project management, costing, and proposals
- Site reviews and construction support, including field work
- Client relationship development and management
Required skills and experience
- Must be a registrant in good standing, or immediately eligible, with the ASTTBC as a technologist
- A working understanding of civil infrastructure projects such as land development, water and wastewater systems, storm water and drainage infrastructure, sanitation systems, and road design
- The ability to manage work efficiently to meet deadlines and contract requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- The ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
Preferred skills and experience
- Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D software
- Experience working as a civil tech, with priority being given to those with experience in land development
- Experience working with various levels of government, construction contractors, and developers
- Experience managing client correspondence

Job details
- Approximately 40 hours a week with flexible start/finish times within standard working hours
- This position requires in person attendance
- Starting wage dependent on experience
- Relocation allowance available if needed
